I have only done the Roy's in Hawaii proper, but his food is VERY good.

I personally found it a bit expensive for something other than a very special dinner, but a good place if you have the $$ or a special occasion.

I can tell you if they were to open an Sam Choy's here in the SA I would be CAMPED OUT waiting for it to open. My FAV place (for any meal) in Hawaii was Sam Choy's "Breakfast, Lunch and Crab" really close to Hilo Hatties on Nimitz Hwy on the way into Waikiki....if you EVER get the chance, that is a place NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!! Yummmmmmmmmmmyyyyyy!!!!!

Paka,
Congrats on your son's induction to the National Honor Society - He is one AKAMAI! I've asked our CDSA members to change date from 10 April to 18 April (Wed), and no one seems to mind. BTW, recommend creating user account for your hubby (i.e., PAKA-Kane which means PAKA the Man!).

I agree with you on the Sam Choy's over in Nimitz. My boys love the boat in the restaurant!

We have waited 12 years to see our son FINALLY get into the National Honor Society and his induction is that evening...so I am afraid that it would win out over you good folks if the 10 April date holds up for everyone else.....otherwise, we will be there!!!!

Again, anyone know the Hawaiian food place on Broadway??? I am having WITHDRAWLS!!!!!!

I wonder if there will be a lurker contingent to show up at the Saucer.

WOW......LOL! I never noticed that! We should be on the best seller list! I would promise to use the money for a higher good! crazy!!!!

Really, hun?

I'm up for a meet&greet. I like to meet new folks.
The Saucer is SA's answer to Shakespeare's for me.
Well...except with American pub food instead of British faire, and sweet waitresses in short skirts and knee-highs instead of surly Brit waitresses.

All joking aside, it's a great place to meet with friends (new or old) for a bite and a drink.

m95roadster,
I think we need to have the wives create user accounts as well and live the kids home alone.
