Well, in that case, maybe the waitresses in plaid miniskirts would be??? (Oh, and hey! My daughter will be 21 in July as well... and she loves Flyer Saucer! Even tho she can't drink yet.) Actually tho, Flyer Saucer really isn't a bar atmophere. It's picnic tables, well lit, they frequently have live music, there are outdoor seating areas as well. And they do serve sodas, tea, etc. as well as munchies. It really is a fun place. Not a meat market or getting drunk and falling down type at all.

Haha, D&D convention! San Diego has Comic Con every year, the largest comic convention in the world. It's when all the freaks crawl out of their basements to show themselves to the light of day. Some of the scariest stuff you've ever seen, let me tell ya'.
If it makes you feel any better there are several of us from the board that got together last weekend for Ken's birthday (none of us had met previously). All very friendly normal people.

I agree, there is enough interest already. No need to wait another month for results. Post a poll to vote on a location, or nail down a time and place and post another poll to see who can attend the event.

wCat,
I actually thought about it during my usual commute on Friday, but was too tired and busy to post. As of this post, here are the numbers:

14 - Yeses
11 - Maybes
2 - Unsures
Zero (0) - Nos

Below is the tentive plan:

What: CDSA members Meet & Greet

Where: Flying Saucer (recommended by MichelleSG)
11255 Huebner Rd #212 @ I-10
San Antonio, TX 78230
210.647.PINT

When: April 10 (Tuesday) (slowest days @ Saucer)

Time: 5:00pm - 6:30pm (keep in mind that this is meet & greet)

Rules: RESPECT each other and be professional

MISC: Create your own name tag (jules07) and wear it at all times; there
will be another poll to judge and annouce winner of name tags and
the prize will be announce as well; each CDSA will introduce himself/herself - simple as hi, my name is and blah, blah, and blah.

Donation: a generous donation maybe donated by someone for this event. I'll let you know.

Please post any changes to your previous response, if any. Should you have any questions, please advice. Look forward to meeting all of you CDSA (Cita-data.com of San Antonio...Addicts)
