No. I'm already over exposed to gambling due to heavy travel anyway.

I don't think I would go to Retama just to play video poker but I might play video poker some while I was at Retama.

Why not allow real poker like they have @ the Hollywood Park track in LA? a large poker room at Retama would be GREAT.

Since gambling is heavily taxed, I view gambling a way for people to voluntarily pay more taxes. Since I pay enough mandatory taxes, gambling is not a form of entertainment I would seek out. But I also recognize that casino gambling at Retama could bring entertainment acts to town that I would enjoy. As long as I'm on the premises enjoying the music, I would spend a few dollars and a few minutes playing a machine.

Yes I would go to Retama Park to play the slots and Video Poker. I hope they decide to let gaming here in SATX. Most people here go to Louisana and Eagle Pass TX. Myself included. It take about 80.00 dollars in gas alone to get there and back to SATX.

It would be nice to be able to donate my money to a local casino, instead of an out-of-state one.

This is a great point, considering the fact that Verizon Amphitheatre is not a live music venue any longer. I'd definitely go to concerts at Retama, and there's plenty of space for major acts to play outdoors.
