I've been seeing some commercials from them on KSAT 12 and I've never seen this before. When we got Time Warner installed last year, the installer guy had told us that in a year or two he had heard that they were gonna buy out TWC. Anyone else notice this too or know anything about this?

I have Comcast here in north florida and so far have found the service and the customer service to be pretty crappy. I had Time Warner in NC, back about 4 years ago, and just loved them. I look forward to having Time Warner again when I move to SA.

We had Comcast in CO and never had any issues. More options is always great!

We have AT&T Uverse...which works great but their customer service SUCKS.

If you search the forums you will find most people on here like the U-Verse customer service and complain about TWC! Can't please everybody.

Comcast would only enter the market if they were to buy Time Warner's operation here or buy out Grande (neither of which have I heard rumored). Absent those options, they are not going to overbuild someone else's area.

That's what I was thinking, too. If Grande, the local company, can't make an overbuild work, I doubt Comcast would try one.

Grande cant make it work only because they make more money in side deals with TW by not expanding. Plenty of people want their service, but they wont expand/offer it, even when its a matter of the house next door. Its cheaper for them to not expand & take other deals, then they make money for doing nothing. I hope Comcast comes. More competition = more choices= less expensive. Our local utility started offering cable & internet & phone back home & prices dropped to 1/3 of previous rates, it would be awesome if CPS could do that.

I would be estatic. We have Comcast in Delaware and were very pleased. We have ATT Uverse and also find their customer service the absolute WORST we have ever experienced.

Some posts were deleted because they were consumer complaints against Comcast. This thread should not be a place to vent about a cable provider that is not even located in our area. Suffice it to say that some former customers of Comcast in other cities would prefer not to have Comcast again.

As for the topic in the OP, I believe those were national commercials. There has been nothing in the news about Comcast coming to town.
