The Riverwalk seems to be getting seedy again. That's what it was whenit started in 1947. It's going to have it's ups and downs. nNw it's all chain restaurants and now a strip club. Oh well. The tourists are going to love it. Especially the ones here for a family vacation.

Im not sure if burlesque is really considered a run of the mill "strip club." Its not really my thing, but it appears that its more upscale and about a higher end style of risque entertainment.

I've been to the burlesque club at Caesar's in Vegas. It's different from the gentlemen's clubs in that there was no nudity. The girls come out fully dressed, do choreographed dances, often with themes, and strip down to their underwear before exiting (and we're talking the 50s style underwear, which covers more than a bikini). The crowd was nearly half women, and it wasn't particularly seedy. It was more campy than anything. I had fun, but I don't feel any need to go back.

To me, it's risque but it's not as explicit as a girl with no clothes on doing tricks on the pole.

Burlesque isn't stripping, this place isn't a strip club.

Burlesque is entertainment for mature people but it's not pornographic, seedy, etc.

On occasion, The Blackstone will host Las Vegas style gaming (craps and blackjack), as a novelty event for our patrons or as a fund raising event for local charities.
