I've had digital phone w/ TWC for about a year. Several times each week my phone service will just flat out not work. It may last for 5 minutes or 20... and I am not always aware of it unless I pick up the phone and try to dial out. Or someone calls me (on my cell) and tells me my phone isn't working. TWC have sent people out several times and no one can figure out what is wrong. I'm thinking I may have to switch back to AT&T... does this happen to anyone else? Were you able to get the problem fixed? My internet & cable work fine with no interruptions...

I have my phone through them. I don't think I've experienced service interuption...then again I rarely use my home phone so I might not know. However, I do have a horrible static at the beginning of every phone call which goes away after about 5 seconds, but those 5 seconds are annoying!

I used to have TWC for all 3 services. We had issues with our phone line every once and a while. We now have Uverse with ATT, and are extremely happy with our choice.

we have it, had a little static in the beginning, they tweaked the lines, and then haven't had any problems since. Get them to come out and set the digital frequency closer and also make sure you have no intermittent grounds close to your cable connection around the outside of your house.

If I were allowed to tell you their phone service sucks I would tell you that....you can be in the middle of a conversation and it does that high pitches "electronic bullet" kinda noise and just drops. TV cable is much more reliable than their phone service is.

I get it now and then with my TWC service. They have not been able to fix it in the 3+ years I've been with them. Yet another reason I wish UVERSE or FiOS would head into Southtown...

Funny you ask, because I was having a conversation, and it just cut off. I don't know if it was on my end, or the person, but it was definitely odd. I only use the phone to make local calls, and have the bare bones service. I don't even have voicemail, because it costs extra. I do receive calls on there from out of state, because I don't have to pay for it.

I've had it since it first came out (literally one of the first to sign up for it) and have had it go out on me twice. Once was for a couple hours and once for the better part of the day. I'm happy

I have not had any problem with TWC phone service here. We had it for several years when we lived in NY also, and only once or twice did we have a problem which was quickly resolved.
