Question Neighborhoods within 30 min commute of University Heights?

I'm interested in researching homes within 30 minutes or so of UTSA and wondered if anyone had suggestions?

I have two boys (18 mo. and 5 yrs old) so schools are important as if a safe neighborhood. Our home price range is $200-300K, preferrably newer construction.

Thanks for any suggestions!

That area is perfect for kids! the schools are great, shopping is close, good churches (if that's something on your list), parks, etc. Your price range is perfect for the area. Check out 78249, 78230, 78255 & 78256.

The school boundaries are pretty solid, your kids won't be changing schools once they off to school. They may get moved, but not 3-4 times like other kids in the NISD area.

As for newer construction in that area, you can find houses that are probably about 10ish years old, so new but not "smelling new" new.
