It's a fact that it's acceptable? Really?

Damn, I'm surprised there is so much talk about littering and fly-tipping. I thought Texans were extremely proud of their State and took good care of it?

It's the only place where I've seen a person flicking a cigarette out of their car while driving in a gas station

I love SA! I just recently moved here from South Carolina...the people are nice and friendly, downtown is beautiful, lots of history!! Gorgeous spring flowers!! LOVE the bluebonnets!! Only thing I don't really care for is the traffic...specially on 281 and 1604

I love the convenience in getting anywhere in town quickly and easily (when they're not tearing up highways).

HATE the humidity in the summer.

Unpredictable?
In 15 years that I lived in Missouri, I never saw a 7 day weather forecast with the exact same temperatures for 7 days in a row.

And in Missouri I got to enjoy "a cold front passing through during Spring/Fall"
That means, a beautiful warm day, around 75F and the temperature drops to about 32F in 2-3 hours.
I had the same thought. I spent a year in OKC, and I could fill a book (well, maybe more of a pamphlet) of the weather surprises I had there, including a day much like Dopo described, where it was in the high 60s at noon, but by 3 or 4 PM was in the low 30s.

The weather in this part of Texas, in comparison to the rest of the Central Time Zone, is pretty dependable. It's one of my "loves" about this area (and since I'm just now moving to SA, that's about as long as my list is at the moment).

Kidding!
