I've drank about a gallon of ice water, but still feel dehydrated and I got rid of my pool becasue it was a PITA that was more trouble than it was worth. I'm finally done, so I'm about to hit the shower. I'm covered in dirt and pollen. This is not how spring is supposed to be at all..

You're right...with the abundance of cheap labor here in SA...you should be paying someone to do that for you. You could be drinking a nice cold iced tea and relaxing...why punish yourself? I'm allergic to yard work... heck..I'm allergic to almost all forms of work! They don't call it work, for nothing!

meh, I have better things to spend my money on, like myself.. I just don't see why anyone would make a location that is this hot. The only things that like it in my house are the chihuahuas, but even they can only tolerate it for an hour or so.

You have to get that stuff done early. No one should be out exerting themselves in the heat of the mid-day. Outdoor exercise and yard work should get done by 10 am or so, and then after 7 pm~ish, unless you're from the desert and used to it, completely and totally in the best shape ever, or you like how the siren sounds from inside the ambulance.

I started early, but had to get gas and that took a while because I forgot my wallet. That Military/1604 Shell sucks a$$. $2.13 for regular unleaded today. These gas stations are all corrupt, but that one is one of the worse. Unfortunately they're very convenient, though..

That's why I'm 100% in favor of planting or preserving trees.

That reminds me ... I went with a friend from here (SA) to Austin
he doesn't like Austin very much because of his political views
We saw a new building with a new parking lot and they planted a lot of trees very close to each other.

Believe or not, this guy started complaining about it, he said with a sarcastic smile:
"It figures, we are in Austin, I bet there's no enough water for all those trees"

I thought it was funny as h..., that this guy was complaining that people planted a lot of trees. If there's not enough water = they die and they are gone.

Shell does suck azz. I filled up at HEB this morning..I don't use regular...but I noticed it was at $2.05. Prices should settle in around $2.25 just as I had suspected...but I was a lil late.
