Well here is number 6. I didn't know him, but he has been around

The man of a 1,000 faces and voices Fred Travalena died Sunday of a recurrence of an aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, according to a release from his publicist. He was 66 years old.
Travalena was a regular on talks shows for several decades, including "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson," "Live With Regis & Kathy Lee," and "Late Night With David Letterman."
The comedian was also a regular guest star on popular 1970s shows "Fantasy Island" and "The Love Boat."

Funky!

here's the new floors in my new room. Next we need to paint it. It's not bad, but there are a lot of pin holes, a couple scrapes, and I just want it to be something new. Maybe a red or orange or who knows what. I love the floors, though, and the guys did a great job. I'll definitely have them over for the stairs. My only problem is I like these floors a lot more than my living room and I used to really like them..

They're putting wood on your stairs? Please elaborate.

Why didn't you paint first..then install the flooring?

laminate actually. Wood looks nice, but it's not worth the risk or effort, especially with dogs and people that don't think about what might scratch it.. besides, laminates are getting very realistic. The one I just had done looks almost exactly like scraped wood and even more like it in real life. I like the ridges in it and how it looks like planks. Plus it's 12 mm thick and comes with padding already on it. Now the problem is going to be getting my wife to accept this laminate on the stairs instead of the laminate that is on the floor next to the stairs..
and I sent you a DM so you can see what laminate on stairs looks like. I can't post it here.

because I wanted it done right away. I really don't like carpet at all and that would've been an attraction for dog pi$$. For some reason they love going on that stuff and that's why they aren't allowed upstairs. This completes the entire downstairs. All tile or laminate now.

Thanks for the DM.....those stairs look great. I think that would be a tough DIY project. That guy lives close to me, so I think I'll give them a call.

My Bassett scratched my laminate. He just wakes up so happy in the morning and does his little dance while I'm putting my shoes on, it's hard to get mad, or stay mad at him. I'm going all tile downstairs eventually, even though I like the look and ease of care of the laminate.....I think he'd really tear wood up. Don't really know, don't really care...I'm not in the market to replace it just yet, but I really love my across the street neighbor's saltillo. It's gorgeous!
