The same is true for the Louvre. I almost didn't go because I read so many stories about the PITA and waits involved in seeing the main attractions like Venus and Mona, but we just walked right up to them with no problem and we went later in the afternoon.. so yes, it sucks if you wait in line with everyone else in the beginning.. and it's a breeze if you wait for the retards to finish

Good morning all! My day started with my eager, cheerful dog trying to wake me and dh up at 5:00 am for her daily walk. The problem is, she just got "fixed" on Friday and is supposed to take it easy for at least 7 days....how do you tell a dog to listen to doctors orders . When she couldn't wake us up-- she went into the kids room and jumped on their bed and woke them up at 6:00 am!!!When I let her out to go potty she ran in the yard like crazy. Its just funny -- we are all finding ourselves talking to the dog like she would really understand us "I'm sorry honey but you cant go for a walk today, you have to rest" or trying to explain to her why we are picking her up to put her on the bed with us- and everyone yells "NO" when she tries to jump down.

I've never seen an animal act any differently after getting fixed--at least, after the drugs wear off. Now that's fun to watch--a drugged-up kitty makes for a fun afternoon. But man, as soon as they're sober again, it's like nothing ever happened. They are definitely not like us at all. Oh, sorry, I can't take out the trash....just had surgery. Um, honey, that was 8 months ago.

it's hard getting an animal to take it easy. you just have to try your best and hopefully that'll be enough

apparently when no one would wake up for the dog this morning- she decided to chew our stuff up to show us what happens when she doesnt get her morning walk..... the kids came down stairs with a handful of things (toys) that she chewed up! I think we will try a short walk in the morning.

I had to pass this funny story on- Today I took my three kids ( 11 yr old boy and 6yr old twins- boy/girl) to eat Chinese for lunch- at Suns. The cashier was talking about how cute the twins were, and I said " and this is their big brother" ( my 11 yr old- who is blonde hair/green eyes and very tanned) She says " Oh- so your the golden boy" and slaps him on the butt!!!! I know it was all in fun to her- but me and my kids could hardly keep a straight face.... as soon as we walked out the door we started cracking up and of course calling him the golden boy and smacking his behind

that kid is screwed for a while
you should rent The Golden Child The Golden Child (1986) for him tonight..

and if anyone else was tempted by those Jelly Belly puddings they have at HEB now, save your dollar. It's amazing how a company that makes crack-like jelly beans can totally screw up pudding. I tried the green apple and it was one of the worst things I've ever tasted. I think the buttered popcorn would've probably tasted better. And who was it that thought anyone in their right mind would want buttered popcorn flavored pudding anyhow?
