Yea Bowie, thanks for the post on science forum. I also use AT&T. I wonder if it was just certain DNS and not all? I was out since yesterday evening.

last time this happened I couldn't connect to CD and dealigg, which are two of my favorites. This time I received an actual DNS message on CD, but kept getting connection problems at dealigg and now both work fine. Hopefully the chinese aren't trying to attack DNS, but I wouldn't put it past them and their evil selves. I always worried about someone trying to knock those suckers offline. That would be a nightmare.
Maybe it is just some smart hacker that has it in for C-D

Btw, you ever seen the NOrth Korean guards at the demilitarization zone in Korea? Crazy stuff...they have to stand guarding the border in a taekwondo stance so they look tough.
Never been to Korea. I was hoping to go for some work we have to do, but I got screwed over because I don't have an e-mail account. I still might get to, though, because pretty much my entire shop has already put in their two week notice or is about to. It's going to get pretty interesting soon. Anyone with an active TS/SCI and some computer skillz should definitely apply. We're hurting big time.

I wouldn't laugh too loud...I get periodic probes from China that my firewall stops. I know they're from China...I've traced the ip address. They're up to no good. I scared them though..right after an intrusion attempt I pinged their ip address a few times.....

They're quitting because there are quite a few new openings for civil service and other contracts that pay more money. I think I'm the only one that is pretty happy in the salary department due to a series of fortunate events.

TS/CRYPTO? Was that just a general top secret with no SCI access? I've only actually seen one TS non-SCI document in the almost 15 years I've held a TS/SCI clearance. Those things are about as rare as I don't know what. The clearance also needs to be active because we're going to need people in the building ASAP.

and I smell Goooooood. I just took a shower less than two hours ago
