soccer-pool-soccer-pool-soccer.... fit in a week to south padre and had a fabulous time. and finally found a job at a school with nisd and much closer to home. back to routine for now....

I just read on Twitter that the $1/dozen deal today is only for "cold" original glazed. Warm ones are full price. Double barf since Krispy Kreme donuts taste like caca to begin with!

First KK I had was from a grocer in Dallas. Those were the simple quadrupled glazed in a box on the table. I suppose these are the kind they "bus" in. ICK! I was not impressed and almost went into sugar-shock on the 2nd bite.
I have to admit that we liked KK when they opened their first store here. Fresh hot and ready to go. They also had wonderful coffee. But we had a family member that likes the custard filled with chocolate on top which they don't do.
So KK lost out to Shipleys! Plus cheaper, plus not wait, plus CLOSER! Lots of reasons.
