That's old school tough, the kind of John Wayne tough you don't see much anymore. Chuck Norris doesn't even come close to being that tough...

Cheers! M2

sounds like my little mom...86 and yes, still drives....probably better than most people in SA. She's had numerous back surgeries and in chronic pain. She confines her driving to close neighborhood places and refuses to park in handicap parking unless she has to walk up some hill.

Were you being serious about your hearing? I have limited hearing as well and have been told that I probably would qualify for that. Not that I would....it's only a disability when I'm listening to someone. But it's not fun, and one of those invisible disabilities that makes life a tad challenging at times.

She wasn't in spec ops though.

So am I the only one that looks something over the old fashioned way?

If I know there will be quite a few people reading what I just wrote, I'm going to try my best to at least appear slightly intelligent/exceed 5th grade writing skillz..

I would think it was and I was questioning that as well. However, I'm talking before it even gets there. So you don't become known as that person that has to be constantly watched because you make so many mistakes. That pride thing and probably a couple other words that are pretty rare these days..

well...apparently no one is at the helm or in the boiler room. For all we know they have a databot that writes the news and can't think or feel. It just scans our forums for the latest info and there ya go!
