Bonnie and Clyde are back! At least no one was hurt.

I couldn't help but notice this story on that page Nick. And I was just complaining about cars getting keyed around here.

My 18 hour brisket is in the oven, my pitcher of sangria is made, my chores are done, it was a beautiful, wonderful glorious weather day, my cat is all curled up with me, and life is good!

I'm going to start reading "The Shack"--it's been recommended to me by a few folks now.....has anyone read it? I just passed by a church today and their sign said they are "discussing" it this weekend. Supposed to be a pretty powerful book. We'll see....

I read it...not at all what I expected. Starts out really good, but then got a little too over the top for me.

I have to agree with ya, Stoned. I never finished the book. However, I think it's one of my mom's favorite books, so go ahead and read it, Saph! After all, millions of people loved it. The discovery of the shack was worth the read, imho. The premise takes a "New Age" approach to Christian spirituality which I disagree with, but what am I gonna do about it? Turn John Hagee on you?

I saw John Hagee at Costco once. I'd never seen him in person before, so it took me a couple of seconds to realize who it was. He looked at me like he knew me as he passed by. Definitely out of context and a little bit eerie.

wCat <-----not a Hagee fan. Went to one service and we were told to stand up and applaud Jesus. Not my cup of tea. I don't think if Jesus as a side show or entertainment. Applauding is to tell the speaker or the performer they "did good". Duh!
