I reallly like the new BING MAPS...the interface is so much better than google's. The map detail seems to be superior, as well.

Bing is the new search engine from Microsoft..

and those plants are native to Texas, so they'll do fine. I only have natives now, because I got sick of dealing with the other PITA plants. Now they just sit there and grow and die back in winter, then I prune them and they're magically back again.

some of us can go to class (writing a paper on economic indices right now actually) and have over 10K posts. Besides, it's all quality

and I did a good deed today and all I got was a bunch of rude people out of it. I bought some stuff at Academy and gave the guy a $20, but somehow he saw $100. I was tempted for a second, but did the right thing. All I got in return was a bunch of rude people everywhere I drove... the guy was appreciative, though, and I did the right thing. I know that's all that really matters.

Ah, that's OK RD. When you get in a bind like that, that means you know you're right.

Here's something I had written down earlier (found scrawled on the wall in Mother Teresa's home for children in Calcutta):

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

Sucks when you have to defend yourself against your " friends " doesn't it?

That's a good one Nick and mostly why I usually try to do the right thing. I'm far from perfect, though, but at least I'm not a hypocrite like so many others.

anyhow, I also sorta know what it feels like to almost win the lottery. I was looking at the wrong numbers and had the first three. I actually stopped looking after that and about a bazillion things went through my head. Then the fourth number and every other number wasn't right; it also wasn't a Megamillions ticket either and that was the numbers I was looking at actually

what is wrong with FOX? First they cut out of an exciting finish in the NO Washington game so they can do a boring pre-game of the cowgirls and then a fight breaks out at halftime of the cowgirls game and they cut out to a commercial and don't show any of it. They've got some great Sunday night TV and I like the local FOX news crew, but when it comes to sports, they are almost as bad as nbc.

Good Afternoon,

Last night we had to leave the house due to a Family emergency. While I darted past our tree my coat sleeve hit a brach and an ornament was knocked off and it broke.

My Wife recently bought it at a Craft Show in Comfort. It is a small gourd with some hand painting and a small plastic nativity inside. That is what broke. I want to replace it but I do not know where to start looking. The fellow that sold it is not from Comfort. I think he goes from Craft Show to Craft Show.

The ornament was made in Peru or another County in South America. I would appreciate any help.
