Immediately. Remove any aerators, etc. from your faucets for a few weeks, and flush the lines hard every couple of day for that 2 weeks.

Also - VERY important - reduce your dishwashing soap to about 1/3 of what you were using, or you will permanently etch the glass! The soap has additives to help offset the hardness, and without any in there, it'll go after the glass.

I keep telling myself she is finally no longer suffering, but it still hurts much worse than I thought it would. She really was a very good girl. Always getting picked on by the others and never deserving a bit of it. I just don't get it sometimes.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, RD. Sometimes they pass on even with the best of care. I guess we just have to figure that it was their time to go. I hope my first two Aussie girls were there at the Rainbow Bridge to welcome her and show her around.
