not sure when the assessments come out. Look at your last one and it'll probably be a year from then.

I would expect BCAD to have proposed 2010 property assessments posted within the next few weeks. If there has been no change in their assessed value from last year, I don't think you will be mailed a notice.

Thanks for two responses. I read online that if the taxes do not differ, a notice won't be mailed. I overpaid last year, and wanted to ensure it was corrected since my escrow payments are more than I expected based on my expected burden.

My mortgage adjusted last April to take into account something - I thought they'd have been posted online at least by now.

It's a slow day - I kind of miss yesterday's two post wonder that came along.

Is anyone going to the Samsung mobile 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on April 18th?

As far as I know tickets are still available on their Website. The only problem is a Hotel /Motel nearby since they RAISE their prices due to the Race.

I took care of everything in November and I reserved a room at a La Quinta 12 miles away for $71 plus tax with AAA Discount. Now it's over $100.00 but it would be worth every dollar. You should be able to get seats for a little over $100.00. That's not a bad price at all since I paid $125 each for two seats very very close to the Start Finish Line and 19 rows up.

For all the NASCAR Fans out there, if you have never been to a Race I would try to go next year. I have been to Drag Races and small local Track Races in California as a young kid and didn't go to my first NASCAR Race until last year. I'll assure you your jaw will drop and you won't mind the noise. Although we (My Son and I) had hearing protection we left them out for about 3/4 of the Race. Race Fuel and Rubber never smelled so good.
