Believe me, I tried to move the closing up..the sooner the better!! Looks like ol' RD is doing something about it too. He knows that it sucks here as well. Glad to see him move on and be happy.

Me too. I have a 3 month timeline in place for taking care of everything that needs to be done, starts when I get back.

Well more than anything it has to do with my company's operations elsewhere being a much better opportunity for growth. My wife and I like the house and neighborhood, but professionally there's just no comparison and her odds for finding a good job after she graduates from UTSA are better over there too. Of course we're both looking forward to the idea of living near a coast - this time by an ocean that's warm.

I still have a lot of work to do... of course finishing the house and actually getting an offer are at the top of the list.

WOW "steve"!!! You must already have your new position lined up, eh??? Based on 20+ years experience with "B", it rarely takes only 3 months from posting to you being there.....

edit - ahhhhh..... just saw *your* edit.... you're goin to SC, eh?????

Would like to go there, yes. I have a lot of friends already in SC. The 3 months I mentioned is how long it will take me to finish up a lot of personal things going on in SA, but of course when and if I will go depends a lot more on when things become available over there and making it through the process.

Anyway on a public forum... that's about all I have to say about that.

Somebody get the smelling salts. I think TexasNick fell ill during that last post. Hope he didn't hit his head or anything. That might leave a mark.
