yep....the remote. I read an article about a year ago and then it resurfaced somewhere recently. Really really icky stuff on the remote.

Another thing that surprised me was the use of real glasses in guest rooms. The conclusion was that even higher end hotels were going to plastic cups in wrappers to insure they aren't just wiped out with a dust cloth by housekeeping and put back on the counter. The mind reels at all the possibilities.

We like the new linen folds they are putting on the bedding now in place of bedspreads. Sort of a duvet made from sandwiching top sheets on the blanket with the throw across the end. It all makes better sense for cleaning and laundering....plus eventual replacement.

I just got some political spam allegedly from the San Antonio LinkedIn group asking me to vote for julian castro. Hopefully the group owner didn't actually send it out.

Me too-- I woke up from a dead sleep and ran to the window--then I kept thinking- what if a toronado does come...how will we know I guess too many years in Wichita Falls, so I decided to torture myself and go sit on the couch----as I type the news is showing a toronado that was in Plainview yesterday
