He did. I just left the group. Sheesh.

BTW, just ordered the sat phone for our cruise next week. Yay! Thanks again for the info.

Let me know how it was when you get back. I still haven't decided if I'm going to go with a cheap GSM phone or a sat. We'll have a regular phone in the apartment, but we'll also probably only sleep in the apartment. I can't wait to get away for a while and hopefully the little piggy thing has settled down by then. Your cruise wasn't going to Mexico was it?
so the e-mail was actually from him? I'll be leaving too then. I don't need any more politics in my life.

I get back on the 17th so I'll let you know. We're leaving out of Barcelona, so no we aren't going to Mexico. At least, I hope not. What a detour that would be! So far all cruise lines have cancelled their Mexico ports for right now anyway.

oh, definitely let me know how the Euro cruise is. I think after everything was added up, that would've been the cheaper option. Especially with the crazy sales they're having right now. I just got an e-mail for a $999 13-day British Isles cruise that went to England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Belgium, and Holland. That was an inside room of course, but that's still well under $100/day.

If you can find a cheap flight and then hop on a cruise, then that is the way to go. You can also cruise TO Europe for about the same, if not less than a flight. That's a cool option if you have a week to waste Our plane tix were NOT cheap (we went with the most direct route, shortest travel time). The per night cost calculation makes cruising the way to go, then you add on the bonuses of visiting multiple countries... I already recommend it and haven't left yet. Even the cruises out of Galveston are worth it, if you ask me (for the same reasons as a Euro cruise too).

The airfare was cheap, but it's going up again. The particular day we're leaving is no longer available and the day before is $1140 more than we paid PER ONE WAY TICKET. So yeah, that wouldn't have been happening if we would've had to pay over $12K just for airfare. We barely paid $2K for 5 + a baby.

Anyone getting unsolicited spam by various political groups needs to contact the candidates web site or campaign manager with the name of the sender. This is very much AGAINST the law! Julian Castro may not have anything to do with it, but he needs to remind his campaign workers to cease and desist ASAP. It could cost him the campapaign.....or any other candidate if they are doing that kind of spamming. I know personally for helping a past candidate with their campaign.....this was a HUGE no no and the candidates know it. They absolutely do not want anyone doing this whatsoever.
