Here's a very similar item to your screwdriver, only it
looks as if yours is just a lot more weathered and someone
over the years used it as a punch or chisel as well. There's
also another one listed below on the page, both from PA tho.
They are promotional items from 20s/30s it seems.

Antique Harley Davidson screwdriver - 20's -30's

I love the discussions about Vance Jackson Handy Dan. To
typify my time period there I can remember visually being
in the aisle where they had this wooden or plaster stuff
in various shapes, letters etc, you know, the kind of stuff
Mary Tyler Moore had on the walls in her solo show, and
of course the thing I bought was the plaster PEACE symbol.

And what was that steak restaurant that used to be along
the feeder right at Hand Dan? Sizzler or Wrangler or something?

Jordan-Ivers Motor Company of San Antonio
Ford and Lincoln Dealers
1924 dealership location on corner of S. Alamo and Garden Street

Garden Street must have been renamed to Presa afterwards.

Thanks Deep! Ivers not Weiss.... my eyes are getting worse. Wonder if it was a partnership with Jordan Ford of today. Like the old Hemphill- McCombs partnership.

Part of Alamo was once named Aransas. Back when the San Antonio Aransas Railroad was at Flores and (what is now) Alamo St. Probably from at least Flores on through Perieda st. to St. Mary's or (Garden). Don't you hate it when they change street names? Durango will always be Durango to me.

Caesar Chavez Blvd. We can thank Philip Cortez for the change. By the way, I still refer to Wonderland of the Americas as Crossroads Mall.

Speaking of Railroad, here's a station in San Antonio that was under construction when this pic was taken. It's the old I&GN Passenger station.

And while I'm in a photo posting mood, anybody remember when Joskes was on Alamo? I hope not cause if you do, yer old!

Neither did I. Didn't they change it to Crossroads in the mid 80's or somewhere about that time?
