1972 and 1973 for me Bob. I really don't recall anything but Fargo's and the bar. I didn't frequent the area all that much. Think I made a mistake it was Ingram and Callaghan I guess. The bar would have been in the NW corner and Fargo's NE corner of that intersection. Below is a satellite view. Still doesn't look like Callaghan. Where's the curve in Callaghan near the old NG armory? Went through there not long ago and it was still there.

Guess I never went in there just too busy at that intersection. I usually try to avoid it. Hungry Farmer started in the original Spotted Horse Restaurant Bldg. I believe, which was nearer to the McDonald's at Ascot which was built late 60's or very early 70's. Then it moved nearer to I-35 then to it's present location. Confusing to me looking back over all the years. The used car lot scene in Sugarland Express Movie was filmed just across Ascot from McD's.

Nope...Fargo's was at Callaghan & Culebra...The Swizzle Stick Lounge was at Ingram & Callaghan (It moved across the street and was torn down completely a few years later)...Don't ask me how I........ (you're makin' me lose my mind Dave..)

I think you're right Mud .. sounds right to me. Not what I was thinking but correct. Thanks. I've never been there but was the Playpen where the big Florist was for many years just up the hill north of SAC??
