EZs has made the togo thing a LOT easier...they do curbside togo now, and they have been very fast and efficient with the billing and delivery of the food.
Of course, a phone call is involved, but I have them listed as a contact in my phone. I'm about ready to program the number into my Bluetooth/voice dial in the car, actually.

Isn't there an el pollo loco at parliament and blanco? Nevermind, it is a las palapas. For some reason I was thinking they were same place for a minute.

I'm not sure if Joe's serves all of that in the buffet, but either way - it's there to order. (yum!)

Went to the buffet last night. If you like pasta with red sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella, you will be quite happy. We had to wait for fresh pizza, and IMO it was bland and the crust was way too salty. The meatballs tasted packaged. They had some calzones out, but they went pretty fast and never made another appearance. The one we snagged was actually pretty good, but like I said, we never got to try again.
The waitress was very nice, definitely from New Jersey, and I think I'll go back and just order off the menu. At $9.95 for the buffet (even kids), I just felt like it wasn't worth it, (pasta is CHEAP!), and it really wasn't that good. Not necessarily bad but not kickass at all. Also, it's a turnoff when you have to wait for food to be put out. And no parmesan shakers?!?!?! They just bring you little to-go containers of it. Has there been a rash of parmesan shaker thefts lately?
I will order a pizza for pickup next time and give them another chance!

I ordered my food and picked it up - I've never eaten at the buffet nor been inside. I wish you had a better experience!! I'm glad you'll give it another try. We really loved the pizza!!

Yeah, I'll definitely try the pizza OFF the buffet. I think the place has potential, too--don't get me wrong. If they tweaked the buffet offerings and really stay on top of how many patrons are there at any given time, I think they will do just fine. And like I said, our waitress (she seemed to be in charge as well) was just awesome!

thanks for the report sapph
can you remember anything else they had on the buffet? and did the $9.99 include a drink?
I had something bad yesterday, so I'm not really eating much today. I'm hungry, but eating anything is not a good idea..

There was a so-so salad bar, a dried out cake for dessert, along with the standard chocolate and vanilla puddings.
There were some garlic knots (I didn't try them for some reason--and I absolutely love the ones at Miss Ellie's). The lasagna was super-thin, but had a nice flavor. There was shrimp fettucine, noodles with garlic and parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, cannelloni, and fettucine alfredo. I didn't try a lot of it, because I was in the mood for pizza....but my son is a pasta HOUND and loved it....his friend only ate the spaghetti and meatballs.
Drink was not included in the price.
