Do you mean Souper Salad? We like to go there. Lots of salad toppings and there are about 4 soup selctions, baked white or sweet potatoes, cornbread, gingerbread (YUM), blueberry bread, breadsticks...they also have some sort of a pizza and nachos but we've never eaten those. If I want pizza I won't go to SS for it! LOL
And then you can get dessert, ice cream or a strawberry shortcake.

In that same vein, I really love Jason's Deli as well!

PabloLambiano is on a distinguished road
Have you tried Bush's Chicken. There are three of them in town. The one at 9154 FM 78 is the original and the best one in town. I tried some of the other chicken restaurants like Earl Abels. All of the Earl Abels flavoring is in the crust. The flavoring for the Bush's Chicken is in the chicken meat, itself; It is marinated, juicy, tender, and the best chicken in town. They serve chicken, tenders, livers, gizzards, etc.

Another really good place to eat is Carrabas, an Italian chain off of IH10 on the northside. I don't really care for Italian food but this place is great. They have the best Calamari in town. I like to sit at the bar. It is fun to watch them cook the food in front of you. Sometimes, when they make the wrong order, they just give it to someone at the bar. They give me free food all of the time. They are great people. I really like that place.

I've been to the Souper Salad by Chopsticks twice and it was not good either time. Is there a better one anywhere else? I like the concept, but the food at that particular location was low quality and did not taste good at all.

Dunno about better, but there is another one at Blanco and 410, right next to the Goodwill store.

I've gone to that one in the past. Their food was always mediocre but a couple of months back I went back there and now the food is just plain terrible. I don't see how they attract business.

We went a few weeks ago to the location near 410/San Pedro, and they weren't good. I'm not sure if it was just that location, though.

You know, I would say you are right about the *cooked* food there. That's why we hardly get it.

But for a salad, the ingredients are always fresh and the potatoes are hot, and you make that yourself YKWIM? We only go there for the salad stuff anyway.

Silly question: can I just order hush puppies from Long John Silver's? I don't want anything else, but I haven't had hush puppies in ages!! I can't tell from their website.
