No asbestos to my knowledge. But it wouldn't surprise me...nice to know that was torched right behind my house. Makes me feel really good.
Anyway - Steve Honigblum is not hispanic. He is a white man (in his late 50's) who drives a 2007 White Mercedes GL class SUV. His wife (number two or three) has a black Mercedes S-class sedan. They are not friendly and tend to be very exclusive. They have several hispanic men working on their property all the time.
Yes - the restaurant is closed. It went out of business a couple months ago.

It would be great if you could take a third set of pictures of the now cleared property and the new house back over looking Salado Creek.

I went to the Roaring 20's back when I was in high school, which would have been around 1978 or 79 I guess. It was mostly older people who loved to dance. They played mostly Big Band type music from the 50's. I was a fun place even though I was dancing with a bunch of old men.

Steve Honigblum (the owner) has now started planting large bamboo as a visual shield around the property. Also large deliveries of top soil have started showing up at the property. This is all work related to his "Villa" that he built behind The Roaring 20's Moderator cut: unsubstantiated allegation

I was noticing the other day when I drove by this site that all signs of the structures on the property are now gone. What remains behind the arched sign at the entrance is lovely green turf—abnormally green for this time of year.

The man that purchased the property a couple of years ago built a lavish "villa" behind the old roaring 20's prior to it being burned down. It sits on a bluff over looking the Salado Creek and has a lavish pool and decks behind the home. It is very expensive looking and has been under construction for more than a year.
