What the "bleep" is going on w/ Blanco Rd.????
I'm going nuts out here. I live 3 miles north of 1604 and every single morning (and night the other direction) there is a parking lot of cars PAST our house, around the curve and I'm sure past Panther Creek - when is the widening going to start? I've heard so many different things.

I feel your pain. It's a joke isn't it? Then on Saturdays we have to deal with the same traffic caused by the YMCA.

Yes, there will be a couple of upscale hotels as well as an amphitheater, boutique movie theater playing first run and independent movies, housing, office, and retail as well as a multilevel parking garage.

Where are they finding the room for all that? It doesn't look like there is a lot of space back there.
I also noticed some traffic meters were installed on Blanco today to count cars going each way. I'll take this as a sign the widening will get started sometime this year.

There actually is a lot of land there, well it won't be there for long.
The Reflection land is outlined in red.

Post #5 in this thread vaguely answered that. The plans are probably in the development stage, so there may not be a definite answer just yet.

Construction will start this summer.
This will be an extremely dense development because of all that is planned to go in on such a small size of land (not that small). Which is why most of the parking will be in multi level parking garages as opposed to surface parking lots. The garages are for not only visitors to what will be there but also to the people living in The Reflection.

I live inside 1604 on Blanco and the traffic is pretty bad in the morning around Bitters Road - and that section has already been widened. To add to the original question - when is Wurzbach Parkway going to be finished between Blanco and West Avenue?
