Default Downtown living in San Antonio

I will be relocating to San Antonio in a few months and I am considering living downtown. Can anyone recommend any reasonably priced high-rise apartments and/or condos? How is the commute between Downtown and Lackland AFB?

Try Moderator cut: real estate link You could also try the towers at the majestic. Commute shouldn't be more than 20 minutes.

Excellent question. I have a friend that purchased a "reasonably priced" town house where the old Victoria courts used to be and his 1,700 square foot three level town house was nearly $400,000. It is beautiful with a view of the Tower of America's and very nicely finished out...but that is pricy in my book...but I am not a down town kind of person.

Cadillac Lofts are reasonably priced, but small. Not much "loft" to them, but we enjoyed living there for a bit.
