I hope it doesn't close. Actually, I wonder if drive-in movies might make a comeback some day. It would be nice if santikos or some other co., would put together a new drive-in. Then again, the land related costs might just be too much?

Ive wondered that for a while now. I think a new type of High Def drive-in would be great.There is a lot of new technology that can be added to a drive-in to make it profitable. I love the drive-ins, the first two movies I ever saw at a drive-in were Stripes and Popeye in CA. I went to mission a few months back and saw Jackass2, will THAT be my last drive-in movie......I hope not.

The Mission Drive In is likely closed permanently. The city is planning to buy it and build a community center on the property.
