Need physician recommendation near 78258 (San Antonio, Bowie: office, deal, places)

Hi.

I'm trying to help someone who's just moved to San Antonio find a new primary care physician. She has to have someone who takes Blue Cross/Blue Shield, but I figure that's going to be MOST doctors. What I'm really looking for is advice about finding a place where the doctor will actually take time with the patient AND the office staff acts as though they care. And the closer the doctor is located to Concordia Lutheran Church, the better.

She needed a local doctor for the first time last week and used somebody who use happened to be near her, and she was appalled at the service from both the doctor and the staff. (I won't mention names in order to protect the guilty. :-) ) Can someone give me a recommendation of someone good to use who is great to deal with and also takes Blue Cross? If you don't happen to have a good choice of your own, do you know anyone I could call for a first-hand recommendation?

My family uses Stone Oak Family Doctors, P.A. on Sonterra Parkway.

We've always had good experiences there.
