Post canyon lake vs new braunfels

Can anyone tell me about Canyon lake? I'm planning another visit to TX this summer and had thought I'd keep poking around New Braunfels, but when looking online for property Canyon Lake addresses keep popping up. Is it more scenic? Is flooding an issue? We're planning a move in 2008 and have three boys so need a safe place with stuff for the kids to do. Thanks.!

Yes, Canyon Lake is quite lovely. About 15 miles from New Braunfels. In the Comal I.S.D. The new high school will open in 2007 and a new elementary. You not only have the lake but close to San Antonio, New Braunfels and San Marcos Texas. Contact the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce.
