We have centipedes around the house. They live under the bushes or near the house foundation, because when I water them, they crawl up the walls. I HATE THEM. I don't care if they eat bugs, they scare the crap out of me.

Is there anything in particular we can use? Will Ortho Home Defense work? Any experience?

Are they the big huge things with what looks like a black suit of armour and fluorescent orange legs? We had them when we lived north of Poteet and they TOTALLY scared the cr@p outta me!! We did have the house sprayed quarterly for scorpions, and that seemed to help a LITTLE. But they seemed to predominately live outside and then find their way in. I sincerely feel for ya, they're frightening!!!

I'm a huge bug wimp, so I would freak out. I've not ever seen them by our house! Watch, now that I've said that...

I hope you find out how to get rid of them. If you need a pest control company, let me know. I like our guys...they are pretty good!

Oh, that's not what our centipedes looked like. They were more like this (not us in the pic, but we did end up with several that were this big) ~

Man, I can't remember the name of that thing
but I was told that they crawl up your pipes and show up in your tub and sink (Sorry )
I was told by the people in my apartment complex that that's the reason they gave us ..... uhhh, the things to plug the drains.
