Well I re did my whole piping on my car, Just go to a Hydraulic shop, and they'll make youre hoses, and fittings.

but the cheapes route will be, the south side (no not all the way to Mexico like one poster mentioned) you could end up paying a fraction over that quote that shop gave you.

I paid 25 dollars for a Muffler on the southside, while those Rip off's Rodrigues Tire Mechanic shop on Potranco, quoted me at 150 dollars LOL

I asked my husband about your a/c.
He asked:
Who diagnosed it? Were they reputable?
Make sure the leak is in the evaporator. Did they prove that to you?

Have you been adding freon frequently? He said if one can of freon last you all year, then just add a can and don't worry about it. If one can leaks out in 30 days then yea, get it repaired.

He recommends Carlisle Auto Air. He said that they aren't cheap but they know what they are doing. That is ALL they do (auto air).
