Hi,

I need about 3 -4 yards of top soil for my yard. Any suggestions where I can get that?

Thanks

What side of town are you on? Do you need it delivered?

We get ours from Keller Materials, on the east side, off 410 and Rigsby. They deliver, but I'm not sure if they have a minimum of 6 yards (both times we've ordered more). However if you have a truck you can fill up your truck with it and they'll weigh it.

There are other places around town, this one happens to be closest to us.

Keller is pretty expensive. Google Fertile Gardens. They are NW. We charge $75 to deliver, so anything under that is more than fair. Craigslist is a great place to find topsoil. Unfortunately the last time I looked the lowest minimum is 6 yards.

Good topsoil is good for a lot of things, luckily.

Yup, where do you live?

Northwest side of SA, there is a place by 1604 and Shanefield where you can get good soil. You can go in your pickup and they'll load it for you.

I had seven yards of topsoil delivered to the Stone Oak area by Gardenville. Good transaction - and great soil.

I was also going to suggest Gardenville. I think they have a location on Evans Rd., which would be convenient for the OP.
