Okay, my daughter had a tooth extracted this morning OUCH!!!! (cracked from overcrowding)
She REALLY wants ice cream like we used to get at our little Mom & pop ice cream shop in NJ OR like Friendly's....hmmmph! I can't get her to NJ today & don't see much listed other than dairy queen, marble slab etc. SO I thought I'd check with the wonderful experts on all things local to see if you all have suggestions.
We are in the GNW area off Mainland (near Tezel, Bandera, Grissom) & I'd like to stay sort of close-ish with her feeling so yucky.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Default Baskin Robbins

There is a Baskin-Robbins at the corner of Poss and Bandera, on the left when you are going South on Bandera Road.

Take the short drive to Huebner and I-10. Brindles is the very best ice cream ever. Amy's is a close second, and they are more kid-friendly--in the Quarry and Basse and 281. At Amy's they toss your ice cream back and forth and the kids just love it.

Other than that.....DQ at Bandera and Poss is close to you--just sneak out onto Mainland, go to Bandera, take a right and go down maybe 2 miles or so.

thank you all! Sapphire, we left before I saw your post but I'll remember those!
We ended up going to B&R on Bandera...it worked she seems a little more like herself now.

Ice cream always makes ya feel brand new! Take her to Amy's soon though--it's fun for the kids!

Save the Brindles for me.
