What are the schools like in San Antonio? (high school, college)

I'm planning to do a student Exchange program and i'm from Australia. Texas is my prefered state and San Antonio is my most prefered city so far. I've heard so many good things! What are some of the bad things about the city and what are the schools like?

I understand about the draught.
In Melbourne, Australia we have a draught where we have to shower with a bucket. We are not aloud to water our gardens only with water from the bucket!
Our dams are also only 30% full when they were 60% full this time last year. Is the San Antonio draught as bad as ours?

Well, any drought we had has been over for a few weeks now. It's been almost Noah's Ark like here.
