Do the hotels like the Westin La Cantera fill up during Fiesta? What kind of crowds can we expect at Sea World? Do the Fiesta people pretty much just go to Fiesta?

I've heard stories of people taking 3 hours to get to sea world during spring break from the exit and don't want that to happen.

I've been stuck in exiting La Cantera Pkwy/Fiesta Texas traffic on several occasions. On holidays and special event days (concerts) it can be a heck of a wait. Don't know about a 3 hour wait though. Maybe 1 to 1 1/2.

But to answer the question...don't expect too bad of crowds at non-Fiesta events. Unless there's something else going on there. Most areas aren't too packed yet this early in the Spring/Summer season. Now is probably one of the best times to do Sea World type of activities.

Some of those stories might go way back to when Sea World first opened. It was out in the boondocks at that time....and basically only one major way to access. And it did was about an hour and a half wait to get through the gates and park.

You should be fine now....and I agree with the comments that Fiesta should really be effecting the traffic at SW. Calling ahead and asking might be a good idea just to be sure. No spring breaks going on right now in Texas schools.
