If you had the money to live anywhere you wanted in San Antonio, where would it be and why?

In a very private community in the deep Hill Country. (don't want to post my hideaway...keepin it a secret!)

Apparently, we did not buy out far enough. I now realize I don't want neighbors! What were we thinking.....

I would probably live out around Medina Lake, where we will soon be moving, but on more land with even fewer neighbors Lakefront for sure! If it doesn't dry up that is

Either back into Olmos Park, where I grew up, or to a house on the river in King William.

I would buy a hill off Bandera Rd or maybe a few lots out in TerraMont.

Plenty of Acres + Texas Hill Country = Heaven to me.

Amen, which reminds me of a story... my wife took her bridal portrait (late 1990's) along the river in King William. The photographer asked, "is it safe to go there?"

Second choice would be a tie between Olmos Park and Monte Vista.

That's where I'd be!

But I suspect that I had all the money we needed, we'd build a house on the piece of land we have north of Boerne.

Default Tough question.

My vote would be somewhere in Inwood Heights for the Northern side of town, I would love the river/King William idea, I wouldn't mind Cibolo Canyons if a) the traffic was better and b) the plots were larger (the 1.2 million and up range for the Parade of Homes were ridiculously close for that price in my opinion).

Not that I mind my neighborhood though.
