I called bcad and they said the appraisals would be available late Sunday night. I am very interested to see what happens to mine as my house was built last year.

I guess it's good since my house hasn't been built and I can see the value of other houses.

Ours is up 34% since 2006. I'm going to be forced to sell soon if they keep on their current pace.

I just called again to see why they weren't up on Sunday night - nor up this morning and they told me that their vendor - True Automation - had some issues with uploading the data to the website and that it shoudl be up by the end of today - possibly as soon as noon. While on the phone I inquired as to the value on my home and about had heart failure. I moved in to a brand new home in June of 2008...and they have it valued at $23,569 more than my purchase price. I contracted to build the home in December of 2007...and prices have softened significantly since then. The lady on the phone was a real pain in the...well she wasn't nice. I will be first in line to protest this. So much for values going down. I don't know how they came up with my value...but this is crazy...

I thought values always significantly jumped the second year because they can't tax the full value the first year? Mine went up quite a bit more than $23K the first full year, so I'd be happy with that number.
