Okay, this is my last post related to Fiesta. Will SW be a nightmare or does everyone stay in the city for Fiesta?

Weekends are generally crowded at Sea World. You promise that's the last question?

LOL!!! Sea World is ALWAYS crowded, but I would venture to guess that it'll be LESS crowded than downtown. (I HOPE so, since I live right next to it!!! Listening to the sea lions being fed right now.)

We usually go on Sundays, it tends to be less crowded in my opinion, but that may change once school lets out.

It's better to go now instead of after school is out for the summer (affirming what perticusrex said above). Whether or not it's busy with locals depends on the weather and what else is going on. The current forecast (which will change at least 100 times by the weekend) is calling for a chance of rain, so that combined with Fiesta will probably keep the locals out. We can't do anything about the tourists, though..

I was there last weekend, both Saturday and Sunday (just got my passes with their new ezpay option) and it wasn't crowded at all. I forgot it was Fiesta weekend but I expect the same for this coming weekend. Better enjoy it because once Summer comes, all of SA will be there, lol.

Let me add - ANY time you go to Sea World or Fiesta Texas -- if you are there when the doors open you get three hours of bliss before the crowds show up. Starting at 1pm the crowds come rolling in, and it gets more crowded by the minute until about 4pm, and then stays full until closing. But if you are there at 10am, you'll have significantly less lines, crowds, and hassle.

We do just the opposite- we go around 3-4 pm- with hopes that people who started at 10:00 will be pooped out by then and on the way out... during the summer its nice to go afer dinner when the sun is going down.

Good news, we have a toddler so we'll be there bright and early. Thanks for the info!
