Wow...this will be very difficult on parents who do not have childcare lined up for the days their kids are suppose to be in school...kinda wonder how it will affect work place attendence. Of course, they are doing the correct thing in trying to curb the spread, but have to wonder what happens when NSID is affected...and it will be a miracle if it is not.

Wow! I unplug for the weekend and return to a pandemic'd city!
So, I'm trying to catch up, so please bear with me. Has there been any speculation on how the San Antonio kids were initially infected? Recent visit with family in Mexico, or by family/guests from Mexico?
And more importantly, are those two kids doing okay?

So far everyone that has been confirmed with swine flu in SA have fully recovered and did not require hospitalization...but since influenzas morph as they spread, you have to do whatever is necessary to curb the spread.
This article says that the CDC is making plans in case they have to address school closures on a national scale.

Just in time for the Today Show !
One thing is certain...we know what the lead issue will be when Meredith and Matt broadcast from the Alamo on Monday. Let's hope they don't focus too much on this.
