From what I am hearing. The flu maybe lie dormant in people for up to a month so many people who have traveled or been around people who have been infected might not know. I have some "well off" connected pareents of friends who are making their children and grandchildren get special shots.

Back to the subject on hand. I beleive the reason there is so much media hype is that there have been tons of deaths in Mexico and they feared it would be the same here. The virus seems to be dieing down, so there is less cause for alarm and people are starting to feel safer.. Eventually, the hype will go down once people realize that nobody is dieing from it, here in the U.S.

Oh, and the same article states that the WHO confirmed tally from the United States now stands at 109, with
one death. Today's
WHO press release confirms that number. Mexico has reported 97 confirmed human cases of infection, including seven deaths.
