I don't buy Great Value or Equate anything, either. The only store brand I've bought recently is Archer Farms from Super Target, and it was real maple syrup. Oh, and the WF branded stuff.....mainly because of the cost. I think their store branded items are pretty good anyway, but they are ridiculously high ( admit it!) on some name brand items. I can see why young families in SA can't afford to shop there on a regular basis.

My bf in high school (back in 1980!!) worked at Lucky Grocery Store (a CA chain), in the produce dept.....he was in his 1st year of college and was making $17 an hour. Not sure what they're up to these days, though.
