Spurs game.
A friend of mine just invited me to the Spurs game tonight.
Being somewhat new to the area and not a huge Spurs fan, I have not gone to a game at the ATT Center before.
I would really like to be able to take this person out afterwards and before the game.
Are there any really cool places around that area for good pre game dinner and some drinks?

The AT&T Center is in an area that's mostly industrial in east San Antonio. AFAIK, there aren't any restaurants or upscale bars close by.
Recently the Spurs have been trying to turn Gametime, which is attached to the AT&T Center, into a postgame nightspot. That's probably your best bet in the area.

Thanks. It is too bad there is nothing in walking distance.
OK, Well, is there a place in SA where people meet before going to the game, even if it might take some time to drive to the AT&T center?
She is a lawyer and a big Spurs fan, however just moved back to this area after three years away and unsure where to go. I would love to do something nice.

Josephine Steak house is the place to go. I think they even have a bus that takes you to the game!

Blue Star Brewery in King William used to do a bus to the game too. Good beer and good food!

I like to go to Tucker's Kozy Korner before the games; I have also done the Josephine "stuff yourself with steak then take the school bus over to the arena" trip and that was fun too.

Sorry to ask again, but maybe someone knows. Does Josephine's have TV's? I am a Celtics fan and would love to watch the game before heading to the center.
