OMG!!

Kudos to the girl for reporting it. My heart goes out to her.

My girlfriend and I go walking over there every night. She lives in that nieghborhood. It's right off Wiseman.

Scary stuff. Anyone with a scanner know if they caught the guy?

Wow, has there been reports of similar attacks recently? A daylight break-in and sexual assualt by a lone assailant sounds pretty high risk for someone to do on a whim or impulse unless they are well versed in the technique.

My gut instinct tells me that this is a serial rapist or that he had unreported help in this attack. Or that, and hopefully not, the girl is making the attack up to hide something else. Again, I hope not but it has been known to happen and the story reported so far does not ring as complete to me.

Yeah, I know. The call was made around 1045 and the article posted at around 1245 stating that law enforcement had "spent the morning" searching the area on foot, by car and with at least one helicopter. Yet none of the local TV news have picked up on it and none of our usual posters commented on any commotion that you'd think would come with a man-hunt in this area. I dunno. All I know is it's scary stuff and I kinda home M2 gets to the guy first!

I thought the same thing when I read the story- I was leaving the kids school at 10:10 (and we were outside since 8:15) the school is off of Potranco--I ran errands in that area until 11:15 and went back to the school- then home (off of Potranco)-I saw no extra police in the area, no helicopters.

I emailed KSAT with the newstip and here is the reply:

We are presently working on it. Awaiting some information from SAPD. If/when we get it, we will be reporting the incident.

Thanks for watching!

Thanks for this...I considered going for an early run before my DH leaves the house early tomorrow morning. I'd rather gain weight and stay alive. :O

I wonder if he's the same guy that was attacking women at Northwest Vista last year? I never heard anything about them catching him......they usually don't just "stop" until they are apprehended. It's in roughly the same geographical area.

I sure hope she didn't make it up.....I cringe every time a woman does because then people tend to doubt ALL women.
