Glad you found it useful. Since it has a lot of data about other areas, I should have mentioned that if anyone wants to discuss it in a way that doesn't involve San Antonio, that discussion would be on topic in this thread.

Great graphics! and it actually coincides with TexasNicks bar graph. Most current data shows SA in the negative on both charts.....but yes, in comparison to other cities, SA is in good shape. Interesting that Austin was actually showing jobs available! Wonder what rock they're hiding under.

Well .. from the looks of it.. it appears that San Antonio is definitely being affected by the recession... not as bad as some other areas.. but never the less we are affected.. Hopefully this will come to an end soon!

Just out of curiousity.. what happened in 2005/06 in Louisana that created a job loss ratio during that time frame? I must have been asleep during that time and not noticed it.. or was in on that, if it aint happening to me it aint happening syndrome.

Based on the data and the chart, it just makes sense that the job losses in SA are due to come in full force this summer/fall. Then, things should begin to pick up around Christmas. But I don't know, hard to say.

When was Katrina? Was it '05? That would've done it.
