I'm curious to know who's criteria for hotness they were using because I've seen better looking women at Market Square on a Saturday night! I mean, they're not dog ugly, but not "hot," IMO.

Though I did read their profiles in Conexion last week, and all the women while attractive, all seem to be level headed with goals and accomplishments as well.

You said it. They (Conexion/Express News) always seem to pick average looking women for this annual thing. Terrible.

Well, maybe "hotness" isn't the correct term; but I am happy to see that this is more than a twinkie "looks" contest! For one, at least two of the contestants are in their 30s, and all are doing things to better themselves and/or the community.

I've seen enough silicon, anorexia and over application of make-up to last me a lifetime; this seems to be a contest of the best overall individual, and not one on just how they look!

They are all attractive ladies, and I wish them all the best!

They are attractive and seem to be on the right track, but that isn't the title of the contest. They really should call it something else.

I agree. I'm presuming the term "hottest" is just to garner attention.

Last year, or the year before, the KABB Morning show had the finalists for the Hottest Latino on as I was getting ready to go to work...and in walks this guy that I went to elementary school, middle school, and high school with...I was like "umm..knew that when I was five...he wins!" I don't know if he won or not...but he my vote!

Unpopular, stick-in-the-mud opinion alert:

I think the whole segregationist behavior regarding the 'hottest' Latin-American San Antonian does nothing to bring a city like San Antonio together as one. It just throws a wedge between people even more so...

Count me as 'not a fan.' Wake me when they include EVERYONE
