It was a restaurant/bar (I can't recall the name) and they have been renovating it forever. Any idea what it will be and when it will be completed?

IIRC, that was to be the next location for Quality Used Cars, before they closed all of their lots a few months back.

I thought they were turning Maggie's into some new restaurant concept....but it's been a while since I've heard anything, so it may well have been the used car place.

That's it, it was the old Maggies. I just drove by there and they have all kinds of artsy woodwork on the front. it's been under construction for at least two years.

Yeah, Maggie's was supposedly all the rage back in the day....I heard mixed reviews and by the time I was set to try it, they were closed. I thought, though, they were trying to reopen it as some new eatery, but like I said, it's been ages since I've heard anything. Seems like it would be a great location for a good place. That area needs a little facelift, IMO.....

But I LOVE the wood thingies that they have up. If the new owners don't want them, I'll be happy to take them off of their hands...

I know from the winkie that you were kidding, but you have a point. That would also be a very good explanation for the lack of a sign announcing the business soon to appear there.

It sure looked like an auto dealership the last time I went by. But I didn't understand the wooden art things.
