DH brought home a 5 or 6 mo Australian Shepherd puppy a month ago. He's adorable, he's hyper, and he's darn smart. It was fine until our work schedules changed, and I had to start a second job.
Now Hank the walking carpet
spends most of the day outside by himself. I've told hubs that this isn't fair to Hank - dogs are pack animals and need to be either around people or other dogs. Besides this, he's still learning 'doggie manners' and is so excited to see us in the evening it takes him two hours just to calm down when he's let in.
I'm asking about rescue because people familiar with the breed KNOW what they're getting into. I've half-jokingly told hubs we need to get Hank a chicken or two to herd so he won't be bored.
