Yeah, my Dallas trips are around 4.5 hours, depending on I-35.

No way it's done in 4 hours from the West side. 291 miles door to door. That would mean averaging 72.75 MPH the entire way with no stops. Too much construction, slow drivers in the left lane and traffic hot spots out there. Not gonna happen.

Belive me it can be done, the construction isnt that bad, and the only time it slows down is in Austin. I do it all the time, and even when im not driving and a friend is driving we still do it. Keep up with the traffic in the left lane and its easy. By the way who the hell drives anything slower than 80 haha. Maybe we make it cause 80 is about the slowest we would go. At least 85-90, sometimes over !!!

Last time I went we left SA at 7, got to Dallas Market Center area at 11 where our hotel was. Changed and left the Hotel at 11:30, and met up with our friends at a club there in the Oaklawn area at 11:50 for a celebration. Good times.

No offense, but this is why I hate driving the highway. Some people will mow you down to save just a few minutes, even if you stay to the right.
My time is valuable too, but my life is worth much more. I wish people would slow down a little and keep it safe for everyone.

What a thing to brag about. You say this like it's a good thing. Excessive speed is dangerous not just to you but to the speed limit abiding drivers around you.

I agree....azzholes like this need to be culled from the population. They are part of the problem...not the solution.

Do you go over your post before you submit them?

85-90 youre bluffing,

First the faster you go, the less control you have of your car

Second Can your tires handle those speeds?

Third RADAR! youre a troopers gravy.
